The Seattle Chinese Orchestra is thrilled to announce that we will be joined by the Pacifica Chamber Orchestra and the Huayin Performing Arts Group! 

This year’s concert will be a celebration of the Moon Festival, which is also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival. This festival is a culturally significant celebration observed by East Asian countries. This festival takes place on the 15th day of the 8th Lunar month when the moon is believed to be at its fullest and brightest, symbolizing unity and togetherness. With additional performances by the Northwest Chinese Guzheng Orchestra, the Girls Ensemble and the crowd pleasing, Northwest Chinese Drum Ensemble, audiences will be mesmerized in a dazzling display of visual and auditory experiences when two vastly different cultures come together and demonstrate the beauty and power of Chinese Music and Dance.
